My East End competition winners

Over 400 photographs were submitted for the competition, creating a collective vision of one of the worlds most diverse neighbourhoods - an ever changing and evolving area of London.

The competition was judged by Martin Parr, photographer, Kate Edwards, Picture Editor at The Guardian Weekend magazine and Steven Berkoff, actor and director.

Twenty photographs won in four categories: professional, amateur, young people (12 - 17) and children (4 - 11). Five additional commended photographs were selected by the Organisers.
