My East End was a partnership project run by Bishopsgate Institute, Four Corners, Geffrye Museum and Birkbeck College.
Bishopsgate Institute is a cultural institute offering a wide range of Courses for Adults programme, an exciting cultural events programme, and world renowned library, with important collections on London and East London in particular.
Four Corners is London’s Centre for film and photography, and a leading independent training provider. It supports a diversity of production and exhibition with access to specialist facilities, alongside regular talks and events.
Geffrye Museum is one of London's best-loved museums. It explores the home over the past 400 years, focusing on the living rooms of the urban middle classes in England, particularly London. A series of period rooms show how such rooms have been used and furnished over this period, reflecting changes in society and patterns of behaviour, as well as style, fashion and taste.
Birkbeck College is a world-class research and teaching institution, a vibrant centre of academic excellence and London's only specialist provider of evening adult education.
